QR Card Size, Clear Borders and Readability
Fit the code into a small card without stretching it or crowding its clear border.

Start from the final physical size
GiftKida’s wallet card format is approximately 85.6 × 54 mm. A QR designed for a large poster may lose practical readability when the entire poster is reduced. The code needs enough room for its pattern; fine legal text or multiple payment codes can compete for that space. Ask about the layout if you only have poster artwork.
Keep the pattern and its border intact
Preserve the QR’s square proportions and the clear area around it. Do not place text, a shop logo or a decorative border across that space. Keep strong contrast and avoid adding textures over the pattern. There is no single minimum dimension that guarantees scanning for every QR: density, source quality, camera and viewing conditions all matter.
Test a size-accurate draft
Check the saved artwork at the intended size on another phone or a paper draft. Read the recipient details reached by a payment QR. A successful test helps assess the source but is not a universal scanning guarantee. If it fails, correct the original file or layout before ordering a PVC copy.
