Nine to twelve photos in one frame
This is the collage for a whole year, a school batch or a big family, and it is the busiest size we make for most people: 52 layouts holding between nine and twelve pictures. With this many photos, each one is small, so the choice of layout matters more than anywhere else.
Layout families
- Even grids: 3 × 3 for nine, 3 × 4 or 4 × 3 for twelve, and 2 × 5 for ten. Clean, calm and easy to read.
- Hero plus small photos: one large picture with nine or ten small ones, for example one hero on the left and a five-by-two grid on the right.
- Mosaics: mixed sizes in a Pinterest-style fit, good when you have both portrait and landscape photos.
- Scattered polaroids: nine to twelve tilted snapshots on a white board, which feels like a memory wall.
- Colour themes: lilac purple, dusty blue, ice blue, matte black with white borders and slate blue for a more formal look.
