Jagannath Photo Frames

Lord Jagannath with Balabhadra and Subhadra, as seen at Puri. These frames suit Odia homes, Rath Yatra celebrations and any devotee's mandir.

Jagannath photo frames

Lord Jagannath is worshipped at Puri with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra, and the three are always shown together. These 10 frames show the Trinity with their large round eyes and wooden forms, in the colours of the temple: black, white and yellow, with red and blue silks and garlands.

Designs

Some frames show the three in front of the Puri temple at sunset, with lamps and flowers at the base. Others set them on a bed of pink lotuses, under a flower arch for the Rath Yatra, or against a starry night with a golden beam rising from the temple. A rich jewel-toned portrait shows them against a dark tower.

Odia families often hang the Trinity in the main room and give a Jagannath frame as a housewarming gift. Rath Yatra, in June or July, is the best moment to order one.

For other pilgrimage deities, see Balaji and Vitthal, and for the wider range, God photo frames.
