PVC Voter ID card print online, from your e-EPIC or card photos
The paper Voter ID card tears easily and fades with time. This page prints your Voter ID, also called your EPIC, on a rigid PVC card the size of a debit card, so you can keep a copy that holds up in a wallet. Upload your e-EPIC PDF, or clear photos of the front and back, and we print it in full colour.
What the parts of a Voter ID mean
EPIC stands for Elector's Photo Identity Card. The card shows your EPIC number, your name, the name of your father or husband or another relative, and your photo. The address and other details appear on the back or in the e-EPIC. We print exactly what your file shows.
What you get
- Your Voter ID on PVC, 85.6 by 54 mm, with rounded corners.
- Both sides printed from your file.
- A wipe-clean finish.
- ₹50 for each card, with delivery free above ₹999.
Who orders a PVC Voter ID card print online
- First-time voters who want a durable card.
- People who have moved and want a clean copy of their file.
- Families who want a card for each adult.
Your options
- Ask the Election Commission for a new card if yours is lost. This is done through the official voter service portal.
- Laminate a printout at a local shop.
- Upload your e-EPIC here and have it printed on PVC.
The official portal is where you download your e-EPIC, and where corrections and new applications are made. The PVC card is a copy of your Voter ID, not a new card.
Where your file comes from
If you have downloaded your e-EPIC from the voter portal, you already have the best file to upload. If you have the original card, take a photo of each side in daylight, flat on a table, with the camera straight above the card so the text does not tilt.
An old card can be faded and creased. A freshly downloaded e-EPIC is clean, so the print looks better. If you can download the e-EPIC, use that.
Check your file
- The photo is clear and not cut off.
- The EPIC number is easy to read.
- Both sides are included, and in the right order.
If the EPIC number is faint in your file, download a fresh e-EPIC before you order your PVC Voter ID card print online. If you are applying for a new or corrected Voter ID, that is done through the official voter service, not through a print shop.
How to order
- Choose the number of cards.
- Upload the PDF, or both images. Files can be up to 50 MB each.
- Add the PDF password if your file is locked.
- Place the order.
Voter ID, Aadhaar and PAN: which is which
These three get mixed up, so here is a plain note on each. The Voter ID, or EPIC, is the card issued for voters by the Election Commission. The Aadhaar is issued by UIDAI and carries a 12-digit number. The PAN is issued by the Income Tax Department for tax purposes. Each has its own official source and its own file, so print each from its own PDF. If you want your Aadhaar or PAN on PVC too, see PVC Aadhaar card print online and PVC PAN card print.
What happens after you order
Your order starts with a check of the file for orientation and cut-off edges. The card is printed in a day, packed flat and posted to your address. Delivery takes 5 to 8 days. If the file looks incomplete, we may contact you first. Give an address where someone can take the parcel.
Price and delivery
The price is ₹50 for each card. We print in a day and the parcel takes 5 to 8 days to reach you. Delivery is charged by location and is free for orders over ₹999.
A copy, not an election commission card
GiftKida is a private service. The card is a printed copy of your own Voter ID. It is not issued by the Election Commission and does not replace the original. We print your file as it is and cannot change a name, number or photograph.
Look after the file
Keep the e-EPIC PDF in a folder you can find, and back it up. If a card is lost or damaged, you can print another from the same file without logging in again.
Other versions of this card
You may want the Maharashtra PVC Voter ID card, a plain Voter card print, or the Voter ID card printing service. They print the same way, so pick the page that matches your card. If you are weighing plastic against paper, read our comparison of PVC, laminated and paper cards.
