Swami Samarth Photo Frames

Swami Samarth of Akkalkot, revered across Maharashtra, in frames for the mandir or the home. A respectful gift for devotees of the Swami Samarth sampradaya.

Swami Samarth photo frames

Swami Samarth of Akkalkot is a much-loved saint in Maharashtra, and many families keep his picture in the pooja room. These 11 frames show him as devotees know him: seated cross-legged on a tiger skin, a rudraksha mala around his neck, one hand raised in blessing.

Designs

Some frames put him under a large tree beside a river at sunset. Others use an orange sunrise, a carved golden temple niche, or a blue and violet starry sky. A flower-garland version has him ringed with white, pink and orange blooms, which is popular for Prakat Din. A close portrait in saffron robes against deep violet is more formal. A lotus version shows him seated before a large pink lotus with a lit diya.

Swami Samarth devotees often choose a frame for the Thursday observance, and it is a common gift for someone starting a new home or a new job.

Other saints are in Shirdi Sai Baba frames and Guru Nanak frames. The full range is in God photo frames.
