Find out whether the problem is the image, the display conditions or the payment account.

Compare the original with the copy

Open the QR in your PhonePe account and try scanning that original from another phone. Then test the saved file you intended to upload. If the original works and the saved file does not, obtain a fresh download. Check for cropped corners, stretching, blur or a missing clear border. Do not enlarge a damaged pattern and expect printing to restore it.

Remove simple viewing problems

Use even light and avoid reflections on the screen or card. Keep the full code in view and allow the camera to focus. Test at a comfortable distance rather than pressing the camera against the code. These checks can identify a presentation problem, but they do not guarantee that every device will read every file.

Treat payment errors separately

If the code scans and shows the intended recipient but payment fails, the problem may concern the app, network or account. Use PhonePe’s official support for that issue. A new plastic print cannot activate a disabled QR, complete KYC or change transaction limits. Place a print order after the intended source has been checked.
