If you ride a bike or drive a car, you know the small daily worry about the RC. It is one of those papers that must be with the vehicle, and it spends its life folded in a glove box or a bag. A PVC RC card fixes the worst of that. We print your vehicle registration certificate on a hard plastic card the size of a debit card, so it sits in your wallet beside your licence and does not turn into a limp, torn sheet.
This page explains what you get, what you need to upload, how long it takes and where the limits are. Read it once and you will know exactly what happens after you tap the order button.
Why Carry a PVC RC Card
Paper RCs fail in boring ways. The folds go white and split. A drop of water from a wet helmet or a leaking bottle runs the ink. The corners curl in a hot dashboard. After a year or two the document that proves your vehicle is yours looks like something you found in a drawer.
A plastic card does not have those problems. It stays flat, it wipes clean with a dry cloth, and it slides in and out of a wallet slot without a crease. The card is thin enough to forget about and firm enough that you can hand it over without it flopping.
There is a practical side too. With a card you stop digging through a folder when someone asks to see the paper. You pull one card from the same pocket as your licence. It is a small saving, but you make it every time.
What a PVC RC Card Looks Like
The card follows the standard bank card size, 85.6 mm by 54 mm, with rounded corners. It is a wallet-size RC card, the size every wallet, card holder and lanyard in India is made for. The material is PVC, the kind of plastic used for ID badges. It is rigid, smooth and printed in full colour on both sides.
The front and back of your registration certificate are laid out on the card the way they appear in your own file. We do not redesign the document, rewrite the wording or change a single detail. What you upload is what gets printed. That is why the quality of your file matters, and we cover that further down.
Who Needs an RC Book Print
An RC book print is useful for a few kinds of owners, and the reasons are simple.
- Two-wheeler owners who keep the papers in a bag or a jacket and are tired of damp corners.
- Drivers of cars and autos who want one slim card instead of a folded sheet.
- Delivery riders and cab drivers who show their vehicle papers often during the day.
- Families who want a spare copy of each vehicle in the house, kept in a drawer, away from the original.
- Small business owners with several vehicles who want matching cards for each one.
If you own more than one vehicle you can order several cards in one go, and we explain how below.
What You Need Before You Order
You only need your existing registration certificate in a form we can read. Any of these will work:
- A PDF of the RC, for example one saved from a digital document app or from the transport website.
- Clear photos of the front and back of the paper or card you already have.
- A scan from a printer, saved as JPG, PNG or PDF.
Each file can be up to 50 MB. If your PDF is locked with a password, upload it anyway. After the upload you will see a box to type the password so we can open the file, or you can tick that it opens without one.
You do not need to type in your registration number or owner name. We print from the file you give us. Keep the file for the same vehicle together, so the front and the back match.
How to Order in Four Steps
An RC card print online order takes a few minutes on a phone.
1. Open the order box on this page and tap the upload button. 2. Choose the PDF or the photos of the front and back. Wait until each file finishes uploading before you go on. 3. Pick the quantity. One card is fine; you can go up to ten. 4. Add to cart or buy now, enter your address and pay online.
If a file fails to upload because of a weak signal, tap Retry on that file. You do not need to start again.
Getting a Clean Scan or Photo
A card can only be as sharp as the picture it is made from, so spend thirty seconds on the file.
Put the paper flat on a table in daylight, away from a window glare. Hold the phone straight above it, not at an angle, so the edges stay square. Wait for the camera to focus. Make sure all four corners are in the frame and nothing is cut off. If the RC is already a plastic card, photograph the front and then the back on a plain dark surface.
Skip filters and heavy editing. Do not crop the text. A PDF from a digital source is usually the cleanest choice, because the text inside it is sharp at any size. If a photo comes out blurry, take it again; it is faster than waiting for a reprint.
Which File to Use: Paper, Digital or Smart Card
The file you start with decides how the finished card looks, so it helps to pick the right one.
If you have a digital copy of your vehicle registration certificate saved as a PDF, use that. The text inside a PDF stays sharp, and there is no shadow, glare or crooked edge to spoil it. This is the easiest route and usually gives the cleanest result.
If you only have the paper RC book, photograph both sides as described above, or scan them on a flatbed scanner if you have access to one. A scanner is better than a phone because the paper lies flat against the glass.
If your RC is already a smart card, photograph the front and then the back. Hold the phone straight, tilt away from any light that makes a bright patch on the plastic, and check that the small print is readable on screen before you upload.
In all three cases, zoom in on the preview before ordering. Can you read the registration number, the owner's name and the dates without squinting? If you can, we can print it.
Price, Quantity and Delivery
A PVC RC card costs ₹50 for each card. That price covers the printing on both sides and the PVC card itself. Delivery is free once your order is above ₹999, which is handy if you are ordering for several vehicles or adding other cards.
Your order is made in 1 day and delivered in 5 to 8 days across India. Ordering a single card or ten does not change the timing. If you are comparing rc card print online prices, check that the price covers both sides and the card itself. And if you want to compare the cost with doing it yourself, remember that a printer that can handle PVC is a machine, not an office printer, and the cards cost extra on top.
Ordering for a Family or a Small Fleet
Households often have more than one vehicle, and small businesses have several. The simplest way to handle that is one order per vehicle. Each order holds the front and back files for a single registration certificate, and you pick the number of cards you need for it.
We suggest one order per vehicle because it keeps things tidy. You can see at a glance which front and back go together, and you can name the files clearly, for example with the vehicle type in the file name, before you upload them.
A family that wants a spare of each RC can order two cards per vehicle and keep one at home. A shop owner with a delivery bike and a small van might order one card for each and keep them in the vehicle log. For a bigger group of vehicles, place the orders back to back; you will reach the free delivery level quickly.
Bike RC Card and Car RC Card
The process is the same for every vehicle type. A bike RC card, a scooter, a car, an auto or a small commercial vehicle all work, because we print the certificate you give us.
Some states already issue the registration certificate as a smart card, and some still give a paper book. It does not matter to us. If you hold a paper RC, we turn it into a card. If you hold the smart card and want a second one for a family member who also drives the vehicle, we can print a copy from the scan. If your state has its own page, such as the one for the Uttar Pradesh RC PVC card, the idea is the same.
For one household with a bike and a car, order two cards in two separate orders, one file set for each, so the right front and back stay together.
What This Card Is, and What It Is Not
This is the part to read carefully. The card we print is a private copy of your existing registration certificate. It is not issued by the RTO, a state transport office or any government body. It does not replace your original document, and it does not change your registration in any way.
Rules about which form of the RC you may show to a traffic officer are decided by the transport authorities, and they can differ by state. If you are unsure, check the official Parivahan website or ask your local RTO. Think of our card as a durable, convenient copy that protects the information you already have. For anything official, the original and the government record still count.
You do not type in your registration number on our page. The only password we ever need is the one for a locked PDF that you choose to upload.
Care and Everyday Use
A PVC RC card needs almost no care. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth if it gets dusty or damp. Keep it away from long heat, such as a car dashboard in summer, because any plastic card can warp when it is left in strong sun. Do not bend it hard or keep it in a back pocket you sit on. A wallet-size RC card also fits a standard card holder or lanyard sleeve, which keeps the corners safe.
If you ever lose it, upload the same file again and order another. Because you still hold the original certificate, a replacement card costs the same ₹50 and arrives in the same 5 to 8 days. Keeping the PDF in your phone gallery makes that easy.
Other Cards You Can Print Here
Alongside your PVC RC card, there is a good chance you also carry other papers that suffer in the same way. We print them all on the same PVC card and with the same upload process.
- A driving licence on PVC, which pairs naturally with your RC.
- Aadhaar, PAN, voter and ration cards, all listed in the PVC cards collection.
- Cards printed near you, found through our PVC card printing by city and state pages.
- Plain-language answers to common questions in our printing guides.
Ordering a licence and an RC together makes the free delivery limit easy to reach.
Can I order a card for a vehicle that is not in my name?
You can upload any certificate you have a clear file of, for example one for a family vehicle. Please make sure you have the owner's permission, because the card shows the owner's details exactly as the file does.
Is the card the same as the RTO smart card?
No. Our card is a private PVC print of your certificate. It is not issued by the RTO and it is not an official replacement. Keep your original document safe.
What file should I upload for an RC book print?
A PDF is best, or clear photos of the front and back. Each file can be up to 50 MB, in JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF format.
How many cards can I order at once?
You can order from one to ten cards in a single order. For different vehicles, place a separate order for each so the files stay matched.
How long does it take to receive the card?
Cards are made in 1 day and reach you in 5 to 8 days anywhere in India.
What if my PDF has a password?
Upload it as usual. After the upload, type the password in the box that appears so we can open it. If the file has no password, tick the box that says it opens without one.
Can I get a replacement if I lose the card?
Yes. Upload the same file again and place a new order. The price and delivery time are the same as the first time.
Upload the highest resolution photo you have for the sharpest print. We warn you before you order if a photo may print soft at the size you chose.
Every order is made after you place it. Allow 1 day to prepare it and 4 to 7 days for delivery across India. Shipping is free on orders above ₹999 and ₹60 below that. Read our shipping policy.
If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of receiving it. Once the returned product reaches us and is verified, your refund is processed within 24 hours. Personalized items cannot be returned for a change of mind once printing has started. Read our return and refund policy.
