Each state has its own layout and its own portal. If your state's portal lets you download your ration card as a PDF, use that. If not, a flat, well-lit photo of the card works. Photograph it on a table in daylight with all corners visible, and check that the card number, the head of the family's name and the members listed are clear.

What to look for in your file

Types of ration cards

Some states use categories such as AAY, BPL and APL for different households. The names and rules differ by state, and the card carries what your state issues. We print the file you give us, whichever category it shows.
