Official RC Smart Card vs a Private PVC Print
Plastic appearance does not make a private copy an RTO-issued smart card.
Plastic appearance does not make a private copy an RTO-issued smart card.
Issuance and material are different
An RC issued by the relevant transport authority belongs to its registration process. A private PVC print reproduces an existing file. Both may be small rectangular cards, but similar dimensions do not establish the same origin, security features or electronic functionality. Do not purchase a private print expecting a new official RC.
Check what the product actually includes
GiftKida’s RC printing product supplies the printed artwork on PVC. It does not add an official chip, encode a magnetic strip, register a vehicle or certify changes to a record. A QR visible in your source can be reproduced, but printing that pattern does not create a fresh government credential.
Choose the route that fits your need
For official duplicate issuance, renewal or ownership changes, use the appropriate transport service. For carrying a convenience copy, check whether the existing file is clear enough for the print. Keep the issued physical record or an official issued digital record available for verification; do not assume a privately produced copy has the status of the original.
