Which order you placed decides where to look: the official UIDAI card or a private print from your file.
First, work out which order you placed
People search for a “PVC Aadhaar card status” after one of two different orders. One is the official PVC Aadhaar card that UIDAI issues and posts to you. The other is a private PVC print made from an Aadhaar file you already hold, which is what GiftKida does.
The two orders are handled by different organisations. We cannot see, track or change an order placed with UIDAI, and UIDAI cannot see an order placed with us.
If you ordered the UIDAI card
UIDAI gives you a service request number when you place the order. Its official website offers a way to check the order status, and the delivery is made by post. The screens and steps change over time, so use the current instructions on the UIDAI website rather than a copy of them here.
For a delayed or missing card, contact UIDAI through the support channels listed on its website. A printing service cannot trace it.
If you ordered a print from GiftKida
Use the order number and email from your confirmation message on the track your order page. The page shows the current stage of your order, such as processing, ready to ship or shipped, and the tracking number once we have dispatched it.
If you have not placed an order yet, a private print starts from a clear Aadhaar file and a quantity. Read the validity guide first so you know what a private print is.
What the stages on our order page mean
Pending payment means the order exists but payment has not been confirmed. Processing means payment is confirmed and your file is being prepared for printing. Ready to ship means the print is finished and waiting for dispatch. Shipped means it has left us, and a tracking number is shown when we have one. Completed means the order is finished.
On hold means we need to check something with you or with the payment, and we will email you. Cancelled and refunded orders are marked as such. If a stage has not changed for several days, contact us with your order number.
