Downloaded QR or Screenshot: Which File Should You Print?

Why an original download is useful
An app’s download or share option can provide the QR artwork without screen controls, glare or the reduced size of a photograph. Google Pay for Business explicitly provides a QR download/share route. Use the equivalent option supplied by your own payment service where available.
When a screenshot needs closer checking
A screenshot may include the entire phone interface, a notification or a QR shown too small. Cropping away unrelated controls should not cut into the pattern or its clear border. Do not stretch the code to fill a rectangular card. A screenshot of an already compressed image cannot recover the missing detail.
Judge the file you will actually upload
Open the saved image at the intended display size, check its full edges and scan it from another phone. For a payment QR, read the recipient shown. If a screenshot is the only source and it remains blurred or unreliable, obtain a new original from the account before ordering. Do not promise a successful print simply because the filename ends in PNG or PDF.
