A saved QR card does not automatically update when account details change.

Check the code currently offered by your account

After changing your receiving setup, open the relevant Google Pay account and inspect its current QR. Do not assume that an old saved file or laminated card reflects the change. Account behaviour can differ, so use Google Pay support for questions about what a change means for your particular QR.

Compare actual recipients, not image names

Scan the old file and the intended new download on another phone, and read the recipient details carefully. A file called new-qr does not prove it is current. If you are uncertain about the destination, resolve the account question before paying for another print. Never alter the QR pattern manually to change a UPI ID.

Replace displayed copies deliberately

Order from the verified current file. Identify old cards at each counter and replace them when appropriate so staff do not mix recipients. Check incoming payments through your own app or bank record. A reprint supplies a new physical copy; it cannot repair account configuration, complete KYC or guarantee transaction success.
