How to Choose a Photo Frame for a Newborn Baby

A newborn changes every month, and a photo frame is a way to keep the first year in one place. This guide covers the kinds of baby photo frame people choose, how to pick photos that print well, and when to order.

Taking photos that print well

• Use soft daylight from a window instead of the flash. It is gentler and gives even skin tones.
• Take the monthly photo in the same spot and pose, so a twelve-photo frame looks consistent.
• Keep the baby's face large in the shot; small faces become hard to see in a collage.

Sizes and finish

When to order

Frames are made to order, so allow 1 to 2 days to make it and 3 to 5 days for delivery. If you want the frame for a first birthday, order a couple of weeks ahead so you have time to choose the photos.
