A full-page record extract may be useful without being suitable as wallet-card artwork.

Read the document heading

A licence extract and a licence card can present related information in different formats. An extract may be arranged as a longer record and an application receipt may describe a transaction rather than the issued licence. Check what the official service actually supplied instead of judging by a filename such as DL.pdf.

Assess the physical layout

Reducing a full page into approximately 85.6 × 54 mm can make dates and conditions unreadable. A high-resolution PDF preserves detail but does not increase the available physical space. View a size-accurate draft where possible and keep the reverse or continuation information in mind.

Choose the next step before paying

If a current card-ready document is available through your official service, use that file. Otherwise ask GiftKida about the layout or retain a larger copy. Do not reconstruct a government card design or assume that printing an extract creates an MVD-issued licence. Official duplicate or record services remain with the licensing authority.
