A little help before you print
ABHA QR, Printed Cards and Health-Record Consent

A visible QR does not turn a PVC card into a complete medical record or unlimited access permission.
Understand what is physically printed
A PVC copy carries the text and QR present in your uploaded card artwork. It does not contain your full consultation history, prescriptions or laboratory files inside the plastic. You do not need to upload those records to have the card printed.
Keep digital record sharing separate
ABDM describes a consent-based digital-health ecosystem. Linking or sharing records happens through the relevant participating services and permissions, rather than through a printer. A private card copy is not blanket consent for every person who sees it to access your history. Ask the participating facility how it uses your account in that setting.
Prepare only the necessary file
Download the current card, check the account holder and keep the QR complete. Remove unrelated medical documents from the upload selection. Never share a portal login or OTP for printing. If a record or account detail needs correction, use the appropriate official service before ordering a new copy.
